Early on in my yoga practice, I was introduced to a restorative sequence designed for menstruation. This practice of this approach and its principles has offered me balance, clarity, and rest that I am grateful for.
In this workshop we will focus on postures that are deeply supported and restorative. While designed specifically for a woman's needs during menstruation, the postures in this cycle have immense benefit for everyone any time deep rest is needed.
These shapes are designed to bring softness and space to the abdomen and low back, can be helpful in energizing body/mind, encourage apana (downward & outward energy flow), and may help shift emotional blocks or aches common during menstruation.
You will be provided with a copy of an illustrated Moon Cycle Sequence to practice at home.
All levels welcome, including beginners.
