Social Justice & Anti-Racism
One of the things that yoga and yoga philosophy teaches us that non-action is still an action.
Not acting has consequences.
So much of my yoga practice is about unlearning. We are unlearning the physical tendencies that cause us pain, the mind-patterns that hurt me and others, and the ways I see the world and our place in it. So much of this unlearning has come through the relationships and stories of others.
Here are some resources many diverse BIPOC have labored and worked hard to produce. Support these authors and educators with your money and your time. Listen to them.
I know this list is incomplete; I pledge to listen, learn, and center the voices of BIPOC. Please reach out if you have recommendations for me to add.
Unlearning is uncomfortable. AND We can do hard things.
