Dawn Hayes Yoga Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana.jpg

Dawn Hayes

RYT 500, teaches group and private classes to those interested in exploring movement and stillness. She integrates flow and form inspired by classical yoga, modern functional movement, somatic movement practices, and mindful stillness.

She explore the adaptability of props as a catalyst for meeting students where they are and inviting curiosity into practice.

Her local day-long and overnight retreats offer an immersive experience without asking students to travel far from home. As a teacher-trainer she encourages critical thinking and highlights how understanding the context of a teaching helps us see the both/and of seemingly contradictory information.

Her daily meditation practice and almost 20 years of yoga practice help her remain a curious student. While respecting the roots of yoga, Dawn is interested in applying these teachings in ways that support our modern life and its challenges.
