This autumn retreat is designed to offer you the chance to deepen your connection to this practice and our local community. Longer class times will allow us to practice: asana, pranayama, philosophy, and meditation. A vegetarian lunch will be provided to all students.
Moving Into the Layers
Yoga philosophy identifies the body as consisting of five layers (Koshas) that we explore and harmonize during the practice of yoga.
Anamaya Kosha - Physical Body
Pranamaya Kosha - Vital Energy Body
Manomaya Kosha - Mental Body
Vijnanama Kosha - Intuition, Wisdom Body
Anandamaya Kosha - Blissful Body
In this retreat, we will explore these layers of the body and how they weave together in our life like a tapestry.
